NOW WITH PEANUTS, AGAIN: http://www.junkfoodblog.com/2007/06/m-to-reintroduce-dark-chocolate-m.html
I must have gotten a bad batch or something when I said Dark Chocolate M&M's were not as good as I remember, because I just tried them again and these things are AWESOME.
So I am standing in line at the store today and the line is getting a little bit long. People at the back start WHINING and harrassing the clerk. GODDAMMIT SHUT UP. I was thinking: "WHEN YOU PEOPLE GO HOME YOU SHOULD CALL YOUR FAMILY AND CRY TO THEM ABOUT HOW YOU HAD TO WAIT IN LINE FOR A WHOLE TWO AND A HALF MINUTES TODAY" but I did not say it. And the whiners were saying things like "You are going to lose customers this way!", but they are fooling nobody!... IF YOU ARE TOO LAZY TO WAIT IN LINE FOR A FEW MINUTES THERE IS NO FUCKING WAY YOU ARE GOING TO BE ABLE TO HANDLE THE EFFORT REQUIRED TO GO OUT OF YOUR WAY TO BUY THINGS AT A DIFFERENT STORE YOU CRANKY IMPATIENT BASTARDS.
Well I finally found them! At first they were not as good as I remembered, but after I ate some they started to grow on me again. They are not exactly "real" dark chocolate of course. Somewhere in-between Hershey's Special Dark and Dove, I would say. Anyway the Dark Chocolate Peanut m&m's were still the best (they are not making them anymore), but these are acceptable for now I guess. I ATE THEM ALL.
You may have already heard, but in case you have not: The good news for the future is that home appliances will soon be able to enter and enrich the 'blogosphere!
(P.S. The link is to my other 'blog, where I write only about important world issues.)
What's your cell phone's ringtone? What made you pick it?
It is always set to VIBRATE ONLY. I have headphones inside of my ears too often to rely on noticing any kind of sound effect. Also, I feel it is a bit impolite to randomly be blasting sound effects about in public areas in any case. Also, I can never find anything COOL enough!
I stole these great facts from some Canadian science doctor on a podcast a few weeks ago.
- Your average human body is home to around 100 trillion bacteria.
- These bacteria outnumber your own cells 10 to 1.
- If you had no bacteria you would be completely odorless.
- The biomass of the microorganisms living inside of you is equivalent to your own liver.
- Your fetus was most likely bacteria-free until the day you were born.
- The demographics of the bacteria inside your body are special, like a fingerprint.
When will micro- and nano- technologies become advanced enough that we can dress insects up in little outfits and take pictures of them? Is this already happening? If so, let me know, ASAP. I want to buy this as a calender! I mean, imagine it: a beetle in a little tuxedo (with bow-tie), or an ant in tiny pajamas, or a bee dressed as a little police officer! ADORABLE! JUST ADORABLE! SO, GET TO WORK, LAZY SCIENTISTS!
I have heard they have released dark chocolate m&ms. These are not the limited edition Star Wars ones. They are part of the main product line. (No sign of Dark Chocolate Peanut I notice :( ) I had the Star Wars ones and they were VERY GREAT. So I went to get some. I CHECKED EIGHT STORES/SHOPS. NOTHING. WHERE ARE THEY? I will wait maybe one week but then I am writing angry letters to MARS. DO NOT MESS WITH ME WHEN I AM HUNGRY FOR M&MS.
(ALSO IS IT REALLY NECESSARY TO PRINT THE WORD "Dark" ON THEM? I THINK IF I BOUGHT THEM I WOULD KNOW THAT. NO OTHER VARIETIES HAVE THIS SILLY IDENTIFIER. IS IT JUST THE PICTURES ON THE WEBSITE? WHAT IS THE DEAL?)
Top three smells that I can remember:
- Vinegar (from a sandwich)
- Freshly layed ashpalt (it was still sticky to walk across)
- Burning wood (so good a smell)
If only someone had spilled some gasoline the day would have been perfect.
